October News & Freebie Pattern!

Welcome stitchy friends!

Can you believe that it’s already October!? Wow! Time has surely flown by for me this year. I have created many new designs this last month that I’d love to share with you and of course I’ve created a beautiful freebie for you this month of a moth paired with a glorious moon and lovely autumn foliage. The FREE October pattern will be at the bottom of this post.

Cozy Books was my second new autumn design this month. This pattern features a book lover snuggled up with her cats while leaning on a giant pumpkin. What’s not to love about this one? It’s just so cute. You can find Cozy Books Pattern Here.

Peppermint Snowman Cross Stitch stitched by Denise Gall

I also created two new designs for Christmas this month! Here’s the first! Peppermint Snowman was so much fun to sketch and create! I hope you all have just as much fun stitching him as I did designing! This design is 95 x 95 stitches and can be found HERE!

My newest designa- Christmas Tweets Ornaments Set

This set of Christmas Tweets Ornaments is so festive and fun! Each design is 50 x 50 stitches and features a backyard bird and a yummy treat. The designs include a robin with a Christmas cake, a cardinal tangled in a garland of popcorn and cranberries, a chickadee with a mug full of your favorite cozy drink, a blue jay perched on a festive sweet, and lastly a woodpecker coupled with a bundle of cookies. September Freebie Chart

Hello stitchy friends,

It has been a long summer and now it’s the start of Autumn one of my favorite seasons! I have a new pattern release in my shop called Autumn Leaves & Pumpkins Please. I’d be delighted if you’d give it a gander. ☺️ It’s a lovely phrase with a colorful pumpkin patch and oak branch filled with fall foliage and acorns. I started stitching it up today on 32 count cumulus blue linen from Jackson Fabrics shop on Etsy. It is so soft and working up so nicely. I think this pattern will make a very pretty drum or stuffed pumpkin when finished.

Holiday Traditions and December Freebie!

I hope everyone has had a lovely Thanksgiving! Our family enjoyed the day with each other over at my husbands parents home. Family is such a blessing!
Now as we look forward we see the end of the year 2022 in sight. Wow! It seems time just flies by faster and faster the older I get. Let’s cherish the time between then and now.
Does your family have any sort of traditions you follow? I’d love to hear about them! Some of our families favorite traditions are going to pick out a real live Christmas tree every year. Our whole family goes out together the weekend after Thanksgiving and it’s just a special time for my children, husband, and I. Also, every year we bake lots and lots of Christmas treats! I have 5 children and they each take turns baking batches of goodies with me in the kitchen except the baby of course! But he will have his share when he’s able to walk! 😁 Lastly, is we take part in advent! Our church family does read through the book of Luke together but this year we found a new resource. We are reading through a book called Good News Of Great Joy by John Piper. This resource was shared to me by Marci Ferrell through The Thankful Homemaker blog and so far we are really enjoying it! It’s a great reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.
I also have been doing a bit of quilting this month! I made the free Christmas tree wall hanging from The Fat Quarter Shop. I loved it so much I have a second one in progress with beautiful blues and grays with a black background.

November Designs & Freebie!

I’m so excited to share my newest cross-stitch designs with you all! I certainly have not had enough time to do all the stitching myself so thankfully I’ve found a few lovely pattern testers to stitch them up for me. I will be sure to attach their names in the photos to give credit.
So first off of my virtual trunk show is Gobble Pie! Gobble Pie Is a counted cross-stitch pattern depicting a colorful plump turkey about to gobble up his favorite dessert! He’s surrounded by a natural wreath filled with acorns, berries, and autumn foliage. I hope you enjoy stitching this design up as much as I enjoyed creating it for you!

Here are the first two designs of the Autumn Cozy Trio all stitched up thanks to my pattern tester Denise Gall. They look absolutely lovely and I’m so very excited to release these along with the third design in November!
